How Much Do Corporate Headshots Cost in Sydney? (2026 Pricing Guide)

Short answer: with Shekhar Jay Photography, an individual executive headshot session costs $450 for 5 retouched images, a personal branding session costs $750 for 10 images, and team headshots start from $750 for up to 5 people (about $150 per person) or $1,250 for up to 10 people (about $125 per person). Groups of 15 or more receive a custom quote. There is no separate session fee.

Most photographers in Sydney make you send an enquiry before you see a single number. I'd rather you know exactly what you're paying for before we talk, so this guide sets out my current prices, what's included, and the factors that change a quote.

Corporate headshot prices at a glance

Every package includes professional lighting, pose and expression direction, and an online gallery with both high-resolution and web-ready files.

What does that work out to per person?

For teams, the per-person cost drops as the group grows:

• Team Headshots: $750 for up to 5 people, which is about $150 per person for a full team of 5
• Corporate Teams: $1,250 for up to 10 people, which is about $125 per person for a full team of 10
• 15 or more people: custom quote, usually with a lower per-person rate again

For individuals, it's more useful to think in cost per finished image. The Executive Headshot works out to $90 per retouched image, and Personal Branding to $75 per image, because you get double the images and multiple looks.

What affects the price of a corporate headshot?

1. Number of people

The biggest factor. Setting up lighting once and photographing several people in sequence is far more efficient than separate sessions, which is why team packages cost less per head.

2. Number of final images

Each image is individually retouched, so more images means more editing time. Team packages include 2 retouched images per person. Additional retouched images can be added for $50 each.

3. Studio or on-location

I have a fully equipped studio in North Kellyville, which suits individuals and small groups. For teams, I bring a compact professional lighting setup to your office, meeting room or foyer, so your staff don't lose time travelling. Travel is free anywhere in the Hills District, including Norwest, Bella Vista, Castle Hill and Kellyville. A flat $50 travel fee applies outside the Hills District, for example Parramatta, Macquarie Park, North Sydney or the Sydney CBD.

4. Turnaround time

Standard delivery is 3 to 5 business days and is included. If you need images faster, for a launch, media release or conference profile, two upgrades are available:

• Priority Delivery: 48 to 72 hours, +$150
• 24-Hour Express: +$280

5. How you'll use the images

Every package includes an ongoing, non-exclusive licence for business use: LinkedIn, company websites, staff profiles, email signatures, proposals, internal communications, media releases and speaker profiles. Each person photographed can also use their own headshot on their personal profiles, even after they change jobs. As is standard for commissioned commercial photography in Australia, I retain copyright. For paid advertising, billboards, packaging or other commercial campaigns, a commercial advertising licence is quoted based on how and where the images will run.

6. Looks and outfit changes

A single clean headshot fits easily in the Executive session. If you want a range of looks for a personal brand, such as formal, smart casual and an environmental portrait, the Personal Branding session gives you the time to do that properly.

Studio vs on-site: which is better value?

Choose the studio if you're an individual or a small group, want maximum control over lighting and backgrounds, or prefer a calm, private setting.

Choose on-site if you're booking for a team, want to avoid staff travelling, or want your workplace in the background for a more authentic brand feel. I recently photographed a 14-person tech team on location at the Sydney Opera House forecourt, with every person shot under matching light so the set looked consistent across their website and LinkedIn.
